If you’re planning to travel to Dubai, you may need certain vaccinations before you go. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
Routine vaccinations:
Before traveling to Dubai, it’s recommended that you be up to date on your routine vaccinations, such as measles-mumps-rubella (MMR), diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis, varicella (chickenpox), and influenza.
Additional vaccinations:
Depending on your travel plans and the activities you have planned, you may need additional vaccinations. For example, if you plan to go hiking or camping, you may need a vaccine for hepatitis A and B. If you plan to have close contact with animals, you may need a rabies vaccine.
Yellow fever vaccination:
If you’re traveling to Dubai from a country where yellow fever is present, you may need to show proof of vaccination against yellow fever.
COVID-19 vaccination:
As of February 2023, travelers to Dubai are required to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19.
